I'm making this website and I thought since this is my own space where I document all my creative stuff, I might as well add a blog. Idk what's really standard in other personal blogs but honestly it don't matter cuz imma do it how I think would be fun to do so; spelling mistakes and slang left and right... With that being said, i think this first article jus gonna be an dump of my floating thoughts recently to do with creative stuff. There has been a lot so bear with me yo. Long story short, I graduated last summer (2025) and got my goated degree in graphic design. Spent the next couples months not touching ANYTHING graphic design related and dog that was much needed. Came back refreshed, dove head first into learning so much more about design, read some books and all that. Then when new years approached I applied for hella jobs and thankfully got one kinda quick. As of now (autumn '26), it's been almost a full year of full-time, corporate graphic design. So def a bunch of thoughts that i been forming over this year. I won't go into the corp side too much cuz there's a lot to be said and i think another entry going into depth would be good. Though in short, while i'm glad i don't have the stress of working for an agency, cycling through multiple clients constantly, I also can feel a bit drained at times; using the same brand guidelines everyday. Same colors, same fonts, same layouts, etc. Also dog, having a full-time job, regardless of the field i was working in, means ION GOT TIME. Throughout the rest of my day it's really tuff to get the rest of my hobbies and responsibilities done. Though listen, I gots to admit, having that lack of time for some reason pushes to do more, idk if that makes sense. I honestly feel like I'm never as creative as the times where I was the most pressed on time and energy. As corny as it is, creativity is my expression, and def a therapeutic thing for me. When I'm hyped i show it through edits, when i'm going through it, i write my best music on guitar. If ur a creative i'm sure u can relate. It actually goes without saying for a lot of people but i only really understood creative expression kinda recently in life, only for about a year now. Guitar unlocked that for sure. If u play an instrument but only do cover, i urge u to make some bs up based on whatever chords or theory u know, trust me it don't matter how new u are, making ur own music is a GAME CHANGER. But that's a whole other topic. Either way, throughout the year I been doing my best to lock in with corporate. And tbh the only thing that kept me sane is creating my edits and planning personal projects, this website is an example of that obv. It's really important to me to have something else going on. I just been able to post a couple vids on my planet.abdu account throughout the year. But those are some of the most polished vids i ever made for my world bro i aint even gon lie. I do wish I could post more but I'm not forcing it, when i have the time and energy i do what i can and that's the most i can ask myself to do rn tbh. Even when i'm not creating, i'm always fleshing out ideas in my head, sketching them out, testing storyboards. Genuinely always doing that so it kinda sucks that ppl only see the polished end product most of the time; looks like im hella inactive but im constantly thinking about this stuff. Bro I'm using Framer to make this site and it's such a headache, if u every see this blog know that THIS WAS A BATTLE BRO AND I WON. Mb got side tracked again. It takes ages to make the vids i wanna do, takes a while to plan it. You guys don't get it bro i got a whole world with plotlines and characters in my head, and my dream is to fully flesh these things out and bring it to life. For now, it's something I just chip away at whenever I get the chance. And honestly this blog thing (if i can set it up) should be a fun, low effort creative dump. I wanna talk about my uni life, corporate arc, freelancing, all that stuff. But I also jus wanna keep it real and talk about stuff I enjoy. Music, movies, guitar, creative experiences in general. Cuz all stuff ties back to who I am as a creative and influences the things i make, for sure. Anyways gang, was a pleasure, catch u again wit the next one yooooo.
